About Us

Moreskills Pacific is a Registered Training Organisation in Papua New Guinea specializing in conducting training and assessments for high risk work occupations that are accredited to Australian Standards.

We are 100% Papua New Guinea Owned. Our Parent company is Pacific Manpower PNG Ltd, which is one of the largest HR providers of recruitment services, Labour Hire and Work Permit/Visa Services in the country.

Moreskills Pacific is a partnership with More Skills Australia Pty Ltd which since 2000, has been providing High Risk training at its main training centre is based in Wacol, a western suburb of Brisbane. In 2011 they added two more training centres; on the Gold Coast and one in Gladstone.

We provide a prompt, professional and reliable service at our training centre with a minimum of three training courses running every week at our training centre in Port Moresby. Additionally due to the remoteness of some of our clients we have the ability to run specific courses at our client’s facilities around the country.

We have made a commitment to run our courses as advertised if we have a full class or just one booking and our latest course schedule is easily accessible on our website at any time.

For the convenience of our corporate clients we also offer onsite training, as well as group booking options. Both options provide the advantage of being able to choose the course dates that are suitable for the employer and your employees.

Our trainers have a wide range of experience in industries such as construction, mining, entertainment as well as the communications industry.

Our workshop facilities are equipped with the necessary plant and equipment that applicants will be using at work such as cranes, elevating work platforms, scissor lifts and forklifts.

Participants of our Scaffold courses have the opportunity to work with a variety of different scaffold equipment including Layer, wedgelok and cuplok scaffolding. This diversity will fully prepare them for their likely workplace.

He has held the position of Safety Co-ordinator at a large Open Cut coal mine in Central Queensland and worked for three years as the Manager, Construction Workplaces Branch within the Queensland Division of Workplace Health and Safety.

Much of Geoff’s recent work has involved consultancy work in occupational safety and related areas including rehabilitation programs and risk management. Geoff has also worked as a consultant for large private enterprise organisations such as BHP Australia Coal, Lemington Coal Mines Ltd (when it was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Exxon Corporation), Austa Electric, and Queensland Nickel.
